Evolution Wins Live Casino Award 10 Years Running
2019 eGR B2B Awards: Who makes the best live casino platform? Take a wild guess…
Ten years ago, eGaming Review held its first B2B awards ceremony, celebrating the superior qualities of operators, suppliers and payment processors serving the online gambling industry. At that time, Evolution Gaming had been around for just a few years itself, but when it came to eGR’s panel of judges picking the first deserving recipient of its Live Casino Supplier of the Year Award, there’s was no competition. Evolution Gaming took the trophy, hands down.
Now here we are in 2019. Ten awards ceremonies have passed. Ten live casino supplier awards have been handed out. But in all this time, no other company has ever experienced what it feels like to receive one, because Evolution Gaming has taken the top honors every time the judges cast their votes. And last month, it happened again, for the tenth year running.
eGR Names Evolution Best Live Casino, Again!
Desktop or laptop, smartphone or tablet, Evolution Gaming has proven once more that its live casino experience is the best around. It’s beyond remarkable that the company’s streak has been going on so long, since the first eGR B2B Awards ceremony was held in in 2010. It’s an interesting category each year, with a shortlist of nominees that gets longer and arguably more competitive each year. And while no one would ever bet against Evolution to be the winner, it at least feels as if winning yet again, after so many consecutive trophies, would be a long shot. Well, it’s not.
Evolution was one of 8 in the ceremony’s shortlist this year. Nominees included long-time rivals and relative newcomers; BetConstruct, Ezugi, Liveg24, NetEnt, Playtech, SA Gaming, Singular and Vivo Gaming. In the end, it was no competition at all, as the judges explained in their own words.
Evolution Gaming is “still the world’s biggest live casino supplier”, they wrote, “and constantly keeps its offering fresh and exciting.” There aren’t many others – no, there aren’t any others – who can claim the same.
Evolution CEO Humbly Accepts the Honor
Following the ceremony, the live casino company’s chief executive, Martin Carlesund, commented:
“2019 has been an absolute record year for Evolution so far — a year in which we have pushed the boundaries of Live Casino even further, carving out a whole new segment for Live Casino with our growing range of live game shows. We have launched some landmark new games in partnership with powerhouse brands.”
Carlesund went on to exalt their top performers in the live arena. He notes that games like Deal or No Deal Live (right) “are taking Live Casino gaming into exciting new territory.” The company has also seen phenomenal success with its line of “unique homegrown games”, including the recent launch of Lightning Dice, and the multi-award-winning Lightning Roulette.
As for the award itself, and the fact that Evolution has been deemed worthy of it so many consecutive years, Carlesund said:
“This is an incredible achievement and one that I am immensely proud of. To be crowned Live Casino Supplier of the Year for the tenth year running is testament to the world-leading Live Casino services Evolution delivers to our operators and their players — and of course to the team effort behind those services.”
He went on to dedicate the award to the entire team at Evolution, thanking them for the tireless work they’ve done to help make the company the best live casino supplier in the history of live gambling productions.
