NetEnt Ups Number of Live Dealer Tables in Malta
NetEnt adds 3 new live dealer 21 tables to meet higher demand.
With limited access to land-based casinos in recent months, demand for online gambling services is higher than ever. Online casinos, poker rooms, sportsbooks, lotteries – all major betting verticals are on the rise. The live online casino market is especially active among players who traditionally prefer in-person betting are.
NetEnt, a founding member of the iGaming software industry’s reverent trinity of Microgaming, NetEnt and Playtech, is stepping up to meet the demand. An announcement this week confirms the recent addition of three new standard blackjack tables at their live casino studio in Malta.
NetEnt Adds 3 New Live Dealer 21 Tables
In a press release announcing the expansion on Tuesday, the company said it has “advanced its live casino offering by adding three new standard blackjack tables in its Qormi studio.” NetEnt confirmed that the decision to increase the number of gaming tables was a direct response to “heightened demand for the supplier’s live products over the last year.”
The new live tables are nothing fancy. They have not been endowed with special rules or payouts. These are just traditional, low-stakes tables, that everyone can enjoy. These additions are the latest in the Swedish company’s efforts to meet the ever-rising demand of the world’s global iGaming market.
In the last year, NetEnt has steadily increased its live dealer portfolio. The core gaming selection has grown with new titles and formats. Their development team has also introduced recent advancements in their proprietary “chroma-key” technology.
“Given the recent achievements of NetEnt Live,” explicated NetEnt’s Director of Live Gaming, Andres Rengifo, “it made sense strategically to expand operations of our Malta studio, building capacity for the future projected growth.”
NetEnt Enters Dedicated Deal with EveryMatrix
It’s not just NetEnt’s live casino studio that’s growing larger, but also their portfolio of contracts. Alongside the expansion, the company announced a contract extension with one of their existing partners. The deal will see dedicated tables appearing on CasinoEngine, the iGaming Integration Platform of London-based EveryMatrix. This new contract marks the first dedicated content supply deal for NetEnt in 2020.
The company has experienced rapid market growth in its live casino vertical in recent years, attributing that fact largely to the acquisition of strong partnerships with reputable brands like EveryMatrix, as well as the continuity of mindful investments into the live gaming sector.
“By securing a key reseller partnership with EveryMatrix,” said the director, “we have strengthened our position within the live casino industry as a trusted supplier for dedicated business.”
Amund Stensland, COO of CasinoEngine, expressed his pride in entering into this long-term partnership with one of the iGaming industry’s oldest and most respected software brands.
“NetEnt is a valuable partner to our business, and we are pleased to expand our existing partnership in live casino,” he said. “The new blackjack tables are a valuable asset for our clients, and we are certain they will deliver amazing entertainment.”
Stensland goes on to describe EveryMatrix as a “flexible provider” of live dealer 21 and other online casino games that is, “always looking to offer operators the entertainment options they need to grow.”
