3x Nominations in Mobile Gambling for Playtech, NetEnt at 2016 EGR B2B Awards

2016 EGR B2B Awards in Mobile GamblingEvery major industry has its own esteemed award ceremonies. For the live, online and mobile gambling markets, it doesn’t get much better than eGaming Review Magazine’s B2B Awards, held each year in London. Nominations have been announced for the 2016 rendition, and in terms of mobile gaming categories, Playtech and NetEnt top the list.

Both leading interactive software developers received a triad of nominations in categories related to mobile gambling. These include the awards for Innovation in MobileMobile Gaming Software, Mobile Supplier and Mobile Services Provider.

Other companies that received dual listings on the 2016 EGR B2B Awards Shortlist include industry pioneer Microgaming and relative newcomer, Yggdrasil Gaming, who was bestowed with the Software Rising Star award at last year’s EGR B2B ceremony.

PlaytechEstablished in 1999, Playtech is one of the world’s largest internet gaming software suppliers, and is no stranger to the EGR B2B Awards ceremony. The company and its licensees have claimed countless awards over the years, and prospects are higher that they’ll grab at least one more at EGR’s 7th annual rendition of the industry’s most esteemed award ceremony.

Playtech has received 3 nominations for it’s mobile gambling endeavors, with a staggering 17 nominations overall, out of a total of 38 possible categories. They include the prestigious Platform of the Year, Multi-Channel Supplier, Poker Network, and top supplier of software in just about every sector of online gaming – Bingo, Poker, RNG Casino, Live Casino, Sports Betting, In-Play Betting, Virtual Sports and Slots Provider.

As for its mobile and tablet platforms, Playtech has been nominated in the categories of Innovation in Mobile, Mobile Gaming Software and Mobile Supplier.

NetEnt Harvests 9 Nominations, 3 in Mobile

NetEntFounded in 1996, NetEnt (formerly Net Entertainment) took a little longer to really take off. It wasn’t until the company shifted its focus to mobile gambling a few years ago that its success skyrocketed, pushing the Swedish development company high on the global market’s totem poll alongside industry giants like Playtech and Microgaming.

NeEnt has earned 9 placements on the 2016 EGR B2B Awards shortlist, with 3 pertaining to its advanced mobile platform. NetEnt is hoping to take home awards for Innovation in MobileMobile Gaming Software and Mobile Supplier.

The company was also nominated for this year’s Innovation in RNG Casino Software, Innovation in Slot Provision, Live Casino Supplier, Multi-Channel Supplier, RNG Casino Supplier and Slot Provider.

Another Big Year for Industry Pioneer Microgaming

MicrogamingAs usual, Microgmaing’s name has found it’s way onto EGR’s radar multiple times. Established in 1994, Microgaming laid the foundation for what has become one of the most lucrative eCommerce markets in the world, and has remained atop the industry for more than two decades.

Like NetEnt, Microgaming is also entertaining 9 positions on the shortlist, the most prestigious of which are Innovation in RNG Casino Software, Innovation in Slot Provision, Mobile Gaming Software, Mobile Supplier and Poker Network.
