Evolution Live Casinos Coming to Swiss & South Africa

Evolution’s mobile live dealer casino games expanding into Swiss and South African iGaming markets.

Evolution’s Mobile Live Dealer Casino Games Expand to New Markets

As a player in the iGaming community, if you could only choose one brand of live casino games to access, which one would it be? To properly answer such a question, you’ll need adequate experience with various live gambling platforms; a familiarity with different software programs, studios, dealers, etc. It’s not only the players who face questions like this, but the online casino operators that supply games to the general public. And for them, being familiar with the available brands and popular opinions of potential players is not a perk, but a requirement.

The countries of Switzerland and South Africa found themselves in a unique situation recently. These nations have ring-fenced iGaming markets in which their respective governments run and/or very strictly regulate the only legal online gambling sites. Therefore, when operators in these two regions countries decided it was time add or expand live casino verticals on their existing iGaming menus, both had to do their research.

In what should come as little surprise (to those of us who are familiar), they both went down their check lists, both choosing the same company to supply live casino content within their respective markets. They both selected…

Evolution’s Desktop & Mobile Live Dealer Casino

There’s no denying the fact that Evolution Gaming is the industry’s best supplier of live dealer games. I’m not being biased. It’s not a flippant opinion, but a fact, and there’s more than enough evidence to prove it. Look at the results of the eGR B2B Awards. For the last ten years – every year the awards have been run – Evolution Gaming has been named the Live Casino Supplier of the Year.

It’s not just a panel of judges who made this decision time and again, but the players of desktop and mobile live casino games from all over the world who were involved in the voting process. How do you deny ten straight years worth of majority favor? You don’t. Evolution is clearly doing something right, and to this day, none have been able to mimic, much less surpass, their many qualities.

Swiss Group Partouche Selects Evolution Gaming

Group Partouche, one of Europe’s leading land-based casino groups, is a major player in the Swiss iGaming market. It was Groupe Partouche who chose to employ the live casino platform of Evolution Gaming. According to reports, the live dealer tables should be up and running, accessible to the brand’s players, sometimes in the first half of 2020.

Alexander Sosnovski, CEO of Geneva-based Casino du Lac Meyrin, describes Evolution as “a strategic partner for us, not only because they are the leader in live casino games, but also because they are developing new and exciting technology for online entertainment.”

Evolution CCO Sebastian Johannisson said his company is “delighted to have been chosen by Groupe Partouche to partner with them and have our live casino solutions available to their players in the Swiss market.” He went on to laud their live platform as a perfect for “Partouche Group’s next generation of casino entertainment philosophy.”

SA Permits Evolution to Serve Local Operators

South Africa’s gaming regulators with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board (WCGRB) came to the same conclusion, choosing Evolution Gaming as the best supplier of live dealer content in the region. Their situation is a bit different though. Evolution is not the first live casino supplier to receive a license in the area. That honor went to Ezugi, which has been supplying live content to SA for quite some time.

The interesting fact here is that, in November 2018, Evolution acquired Ezugi. Therefore Evoltuion has, in a way, been catering to the region for more than a year. The extension of the license to include Evolution’s content is being seen as a natural progression – if not a delayed one – In the South African market. But that didn’t seem to bother Evolution Gaming CEO Martin Carlesund, who expressed enthusiasm over the deal in this morning’s press release.

“Thanks in large part to the great experience already gained in this market by our Ezugi subsidiary, we are entering a really exciting new vertical in this region,” said Carlesund. “Our world-leading live dealer solutions, and new live event betting solutions too, will be available not only on desktop, tablet and smartphone but also in retail betting shops.”

This latest expansion into Switzerland and South Africa is improving Evolution’s global footprint once again. The company’s world-class desktop and mobile live dealer casino games are already licensed in the European nations of Alderney, Belgium, Latvia, Malta, Romania, and the UK, the Canadian province of British Columbia, and the US States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
